The International Conference of Progressive Education (ICOPE) 2020 is the second international conference organized by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lampung University, Indonesia. The conference will be held in Bandar Lampung, Lampung Province, Indonesia on 17 – 18 October 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are now starting to take a model of totally online organized event via Zoom.
By inviting four keynote speakers from Hungary, the United States of America, Malaysia, and Indonesia to deliver their ideas and findings about the new era of education, this conference is expected to be a forum to address education-related issues in the current educational situation. The aim of this conference is to invite academics, researchers, teachers, practitioners, and students to participate and exchange ideas, experiences, research findings, and growing trends of research in the field of education to make a better, more efficient, and impactful teaching and learning.
The 2nd ICOPE 2020 welcomes you to submit a paper on topics indicated in the section Conference Sub-themes. All submitted abstracts and papers will undergo a blind peer review process to ensure the quality, relevance, and originality.

Associate Professor Dr. Hisham bin Dzakiria teaches at School of Languages, Civilization and Philosophy, College of Arts and Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Malaysia. He completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Professional Development majoring in Ligelong Learning & Professional Development in ODL from University of Easr Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom (2004). He obtained a Master of Arts(MA) degree in Linguistics with a Minor in Communication(1996). Two bachelor degrees from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario; Canada majoring in Education and Applied Linguistics (1991). Since 1992, he has progressively attained various achievements in academia ranging from accomplishing various research work, publication, consultation, training and coaching work. His current research areas & word include: higher Education; Student`s leadership;Learning Interaction; Student Learning Skills; Learning Ergonomics; Open Distance Learning & Adult learning; Modular Approach and Ope Educational Resources (OER). With a reading of 13 H index, and 19 i10 index on citation in social science, he looks forward to strengthen his achievements in years to come.
All accepted papers that meet a standard of quality will be published in distinctive publication outlets subject to the conformity of the paper’s quality. The authors would have to incur additional costs for their selected publication outlets. The presented and accepted papers will be published in:
